It’s looking for somebody just like you, the kind of designer who can do it all iconography, typography, motion and they’re looking for both sides of the design equation : production and thematic.

Nitty Gritty

Hi-fi UI design work will be your bread-n-butter, as you execute across multiple platforms and breakpoints for this bustling enterprise.

You’ll pretty much be called upon to do it all : mobile-first, front-end development, interactivity, transitions, layout, space, texture, color.

And, bringing all that impressive expertise of yours to bear, you’ll be tasked with establishing a universal UI theme and palette, creating and maintaining a style guide, and ensuring brand and style coherence.

You’ll build all of your components with an eye toward making them scalable, reusable, accessible, and just generally what is known in the business as kickass.

• You’re going to have to keep yourself well informed on multiple fronts : by talking with product teams as you gather use cases;
• by keeping channels open with UX folks; by consulting with product, front-end and marketing colleagues on the aspects of their work that touch upon yours;

by conducting competitive analyses to make sure your outfit is truly pushing the boundaries; and by educating yourself as to best practices and new tools and techniques.

Like we said, you’ve risen rather meteorically in the world of digital design, and there isn’t much that you haven’t been exposed to.

You’re expert-level in atomic design principles and accessibility standards. You know your way around some of the front-end tools such as React, CSS and HTML.

People look to you as a source on what’s latest & greatest in the field.

In terms of your workplace demeanor, you’re eager to jump in and do whatever it takes to make sure that your company’s designs are polished, engaging, on-brand and cutting edge.

Sometimes that means pitching in to fix bugs, training up team members, producing reports and other documentation, and generally going beyond a narrow job description to make your talents felt.
