We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating CNC machinery and be proficient in programming and tooling. This role is essential for producing high-quality components with precision and efficiency. The CNC Machinist will work with various materials, including plastics, and will be responsible for ensuring that all parts meet stringent specifications.
- Duties
- Operate CNC machines, including lathes and milling machines, to produce precision parts.
- Program CNC machinery using Mazatrol and Fanuc controls to ensure accurate production.
- Utilize GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Measure components using calipers, micrometers, and other hand tools to verify dimensions.
- Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to develop tooling solutions for new projects.
- Troubleshoot issues with machinery and make necessary adjustments to maintain production flow.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience as a CNC Machinist or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in programming CNC machines, particularly with Mazatrol and Fanuc systems.
- Strong understanding of GD&T principles and ability to read technical drawings.
- Experience with plastics injection molding processes is a plus.
- Familiarity with hand tools, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certifications are preferred.
