• Medical Dental Vision Training and mentoring 401(k) with matching Paid sick leave Paid vacation SUMMARY This position will ensure reliability, security, and performance across servers, endpoints, and cloud services while partnering closely with the IT Director and mentoring helpdesk staff.
• It will maintain and improve Microsoft-centric on-prem / cloud environment and act as primary escalation for complex incidents.
• Own Tier-2 / 3 troubleshooting; secure core services (AD, M365 / Azure, servers, virtualization, backups); perform basic network tasks (switch / firewall) under change control.
• JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Own Tier-2 / 3 incidents and problem records; deliver workarounds and permanent fixes (root cause).
• Coach helpdesk staff on troubleshooting methods, SOPs, and quality standards.
• Create / maintain knowledge base (KB) articles to reduce repeat escalations and improve first-contact resolution.
• Administer Windows Server / Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS / DHCP, and file / print.
• Manage virtualization (VMware), storage platforms, and backup / restore operations (Veeam).
• Operate and optimize Azure / Microsoft 365 (Entra ID / AAD, Intune / Endpoint Manager, Exchange Online, SharePoint / OneDrive).
• Coordinate vulnerability remediation, EDR / Defender protections, and least-privilege access (RBAC).
