About Us
The Administrative Office drives enterprise reporting and process discipline across functions at Girl Scouts of the USA with the goal of increasing Movement-wide efficiency in the most cost-effective manner.
Work includes driving continuous improvement with measurable outcomes for standards and procedures across vendor contracting, procurement, IT sourcing and development, and property management.
Enterprise reporting will develop and share insights into metrics and KPIs across GSUSA communities and initiatives, identifying key issues, impact areas, and opportunities for prioritization alignment.
The Information Technology, Properties, Procurement / Sustainability, Public Policy / Advocacy, and Cultural Assets teams within this division collaborate closely with all other Girl Scouts of the USA divisions, while also impacting quality of service delivery to council customers in support of our end girl and volunteer customers.

The Juliette Gordon Low Birthplace is seeking to hire a full-time (hourly) Ticketing Representative to welcome visitors of all backgrounds to experience the history of the Juliette Gordon Low Birthplace and the story of Girl Scouts’ founder, Juliette Gordon Low.
The dedicated staff of the Juliette Gordon Low Birthplace educate visitors about the history of the site and support the GSUSA mission to build girls of courage, confidence, and character to make the world a better place.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES - Primary duties of the position
As a full-time Ticketing Representative at the birthplace, you will :
- Demonstrate excellent, timely, and professional communication with customers about reservations, tickets, and program offerings at the front desk and by phone and email.
- Develop a working knowledge of our reservations system.
- Collaborate with the manager of reservations and finance to generate weekly visitation reports.
- Work with Museum Guides to support daily operations.
- Complete data entry tasks as assigned.
- Assist Program Administrator with scheduling.
- Answer the general phone line for the birthplace.
- Deliver excellent customer service and make all visitors feel welcome.
- Maintain basic knowledge of the history of Juliette Gordon Low, Girl Scouting, and Savannah.
- Give directions to visitors and provide information about dining, other sites / landmarks, and transportation.
- Participate in peer training.
- Serve as an enthusiastic representative of the birthplace and Girl Scouting.

REQUIRED COMPETENCIES
This position requires a background or demonstrated interest in customer service and / or the tourism industry and in working with the public and youth audiences.
The successful candidate must have a demonstrated commitment to excellent customer service with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Must be reliable, personable, and a team player with a good work ethic and a desire to learn new skills on the job.
REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS
Exceptional Verbal Communication Skills
Proficient math and computer skills
Competency in the Microsoft Office Suite
Comfortable working under pressure
Excellent customer service skills
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE (i.e., degrees, certifications)
Degree or Equivalent Experience :
High School degree or equivalent.
Minimum Years of Experience : 2 years of experience in customer service or related field.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS : The Ticketing Representative’s duties will be done at a desk and on a computer. Accommodations will be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
WORK ENVIRONMENT : This job operates in a professional museum environment.
POSITION TYPE / EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK : This is a full-time position with benefits and paid holidays. It is 35 hours and 5 days a week work schedule including weekends and some holidays.
Hours ranging from 8 : 30am to 5 : 30pm.
