SALARY AND BENEFITS :

The starting salary for a Therapist is $54,000 per year. New hires are eligible for a $2,000 sign-on bonus. Additionally, you can earn productivity bonuses of $400 per quarter for meeting adherence targets and $125 for each successful case closure (estimated at 16-20 cases per year).

QUALIFICATIONS :

Bachelor's degree or higher in social work, psychology, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or other human services. New graduates are welcome!

LSW, LPC, or MFT preferred, with prior experience delivering mental health services to children and families with complex needs.

This position requires a flexible schedule and the ability to travel to meet family needs.

AGENCY SUMMARY :

Applewood Centers is a private, nonprofit agency providing mental health services, social services, and education to children, adolescents, and families in Cuyahoga and Lorain counties. We are dedicated to addressing diverse behavioral, emotional, and learning challenges, providing care from outpatient counseling to residential treatment.

POSITION SUMMARY :

Are you a collaborative problem solver eager to grow your clinical skills while working with a dedicated team? If so, our Community-Based Therapist / Clinician team may be the perfect fit for you!

As a Therapist, your role will focus on providing in-home assessment, treatment, case management, crisis intervention, and advocacy to adolescents and families. You will uphold the Multisystemic Therapy (MST) model and coordinate with treatment team members to achieve targeted outcomes.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE :

Delivering MST services to a small caseload of youth and families in various community settings, including homes, schools, and neighborhoods.

Ensuring client and community safety through comprehensive individualized safety planning.

Engaging primary caregivers and key participants in treatment to promote active participation and overcome barriers.

Providing family therapy, parent training, cognitive behavioral therapy, skills building, and interventions within community systems.

Conducting MST assessments by reviewing referrals, identifying key participants, and analyzing systemic strengths and challenges.

Participating in weekly group supervision and phone consultations, as well as individual supervision as required.

Maintaining clear documentation of treatment efforts to promote peer and supervisory review, ensuring compliance with MST Principles and processes.

EXPERIENCE :

Bachelor's level licensed mental health experience with children and families or relevant experience as part of a master's degree internship program.
