Litigation Paralegal (Fully Remote)
Superior Executive & Legal Recruiting is actively seeking a talented Litigation Paralegal on behalf of our client — a Los Angeles-based plaintiff’s law firm focused on protecting employees’ rights.
Routine Job Responsibilities Include :
- Filing all pleadings via One Legal (California state courts), CM / ECF (federal courts), or other approved e-filing systems.
- Serving summons and complaints.
- Monitoring service attempts and coordinating with process servers to ensure timely completion of service of process.
- Drafting and filing Case Management Statements and ensuring compliance with court scheduling orders.
- Obtaining CourtCall or other telephonic / remote appearance login information for attorneys.
- Drafting captions and Proofs of Service.
- Contacting the court, as necessary, to confirm hearing logistics, resolve filing issues, or verify case scheduling.
Additional Job Responsibilities May Include :
Calendaring arbitration deadlines.Handling correspondence with JAMS and AAA, including payment of filing fees, arbitrator selection, and scheduling matters.Managing arbitration service and filing of all documents through AAA and JAMS portals, email service, and coordinating physical mail service.Dispersing incoming physical mail to the appropriate attorney or staff member in accordance with firm protocols.Calendaring court deadlines for responsive pleadings, motions, and hearings.Managing PAGA-related work, including drafting complaints, preparing LWDA letters, and coordinating related discovery.All resumes will be handled with strict confidentiality.
