Position Summary :
We are seeking an experienced CNC Lathe Machinist proficient in T code and Mazatrol programming to join our dynamic team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, programming, and operating CNC lathe machines to produce high-quality precision parts according to engineering specifications.
Key Responsibilities :
- Set-Up and Operation :
- Set up and operate CNC lathe machines, ensuring parts are machined to the highest quality standards.
- Select and install appropriate tooling for each job.
- Programming :
- Write, edit, and optimize T code and Mazatrol programs for efficient and accurate machining.
- Read and interpret engineering blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD models to determine machining specifications.
- Perform program adjustments as necessary to improve part quality and production efficiency.
- Quality Control :
- Conduct regular inspections of machined parts using precision measuring instruments to ensure they meet specified tolerances.
- Make necessary adjustments to machine settings to maintain product quality.
- Maintenance :
- Perform routine maintenance on CNC lathe machines to ensure they are operating effectively and efficiently.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the machining process.
- Safety and Compliance :
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Comply with company policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Documentation :
- Maintain accurate records of machining processes, tool usage, and maintenance activities.
- Document any changes made to programs and processes for future reference.
Qualifications :
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in machining or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience as a CNC Lathe Machinist, with a strong background in T code and Mazatrol programming.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong understanding of machining principles, tool selection, and cutting parameters.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
Physical Requirements :
- Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds.
- Prolonged periods of standing and working at machines.
- Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
