PS PMO Manager
The PS PMO Manager will manage a team of project managers and will report on the delivery portfolio of Professional Services projects. Project Managers at Hyosung own all aspects of customer-facing professional services projects and are directly responsible for initiating, planning, execution, control, quality, and directing all efforts related to the successful and profitable implementation of software delivery projects spanning technical, schedule, costs and contract areas of assigned projects. The PS PMO Manager will drive this team to implement best practices, refine the delivery process, assign / coach / mentor the staff, and be responsible for delivering the project revenue. This is a highly visible position that ultimately owns the customer relationship via their staff, has responsibility for driving customer satisfaction, is a primary customer escalation point and is the largest driver of ensuring the voice of the customer is heard.
Essential Functions :
- Program / Project Management Governance : This involves establishing frameworks for robust project management, including : program / project management methodologies (Agile, Iterative and Waterfall)
- Full human resource management responsibility for project management staff.
- Support Project Managers in planning, pricing and developing statements of work and creating the schedules required to facilitate an integrated work effort, in conjunction with the customer and other NHA teams.
- Broadening and maturing the overall project management practice in terms of education, process, and tool improvements.
- Portfolio Management : This involves strategic planning, roadmap development and orchestration, execution and reporting transparency.
- Provide the leadership and support required to project managers to plan and deliver timely, cost effective and quality project deliverables in accordance with project management and solution delivery methodologies.
- Maintain and promote timely communications through project status meetings and reporting.
- Advise Project Managers on the management of project scope, issues, schedules, requirements, resource assignments / allocations, deliverables, budgets, risks and communications.
- Assess the performance of programs, projects and project managers.
- Identify and effectively resolve issues and conflicts within and among project team(s).
- Conduct regularly scheduled project status and issue reviews with Project Managers.
- Ability to travel 10-20%.
Education and Experience :
Minimum of ten years' experience in Project Management / Program ManagementPrevious experience managing a team of project managersStrong Project Management skills and understanding of technology, such as software, hardware, networking, systems development and implementationSuccessful experience in delivering professional services such as consulting, system implementation, software integration and supportExtensive business and technical experienceFour-year degree in business or a technical degreePMI Certification desiredPreferred Qualifications :
