Summary
As a member of the patient care team, performs activities and functions, under the direction of the Nurse, which includes direct patient care and support of unit functions in a manner that is consistent with safe and effective delivery of patient care.
Qualifications
EDUCATION :
- High school diploma required.
- Nursing Assistant I competency.
EXPERIENCE :
- One year clinical experience required.
- EMT or critical care experience desirable.
PROFESSIONAL LICENSURE AND CERTIFICATION :
Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
INTERPERSONAL RELATIONSHIPS : Communicates and collaborates with all members of the hospital, community, families of patients, volunteers, visitors, and students.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS :
- Physical health sufficient to meet the ergonomic standards and demands of the position and its location.

Required : High school diploma or GED.
Experience :
Preferred : 1 year hospital experience
Certifications :
Required : Certified Nursing Assistant. AHA BLS
