Position Overview

The Estimator plays a crucial role in the construction process by preparing accurate cost estimates for projects, ensuring that all costs are accounted for and that projects are completed within budget. This position requires a strong understanding of commercial construction processes and cost control methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for commercial construction projects
• Analyze project plans and specifications to determine appropriate quantities and costs
• Collaborate with project managers and subcontractors to gather relevant information for estimates
• Monitor project costs and assist in maintaining budgets throughout the construction process
• Review and assess bids from subcontractors and suppliers
• Provide recommendations for cost-saving measures without compromising quality
• Present estimates to clients and stakeholders, explaining cost components and justifications
