We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Tampa, Florida. This role involves supporting key accounting functions, including data migration, accounts payable, and accounts receivable processes. The ideal candidate will have a proactive approach to managing financial data and ensuring accuracy in high-volume tasks.

Responsibilities :

• Transfer and organize financial data between systems to ensure seamless integration.
• Manage accounts payable processes, including vendor setup and invoice coding.
• Support accounts receivable functions by reconciling balances and processing payments.
• Perform high-volume data entry with precision and attention to detail.
• Assist in migrating fixed asset information into Harmony software.
• Process invoices accurately, adhering to company standards.
• Maintain and update customer and client records during the data migration process.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth transitions and resolve discrepancies.
• Verify and audit financial data entries to uphold data integrity.
• Generate reports as needed to support accounting operations.
• Proven experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Proficiency in data entry and financial data management.
• Familiarity with invoice processing and coding.
• Ability to handle high-volume invoicing tasks efficiently.
• Experience with data migration and integration processes.
• Knowledge of Harmony software or similar accounting systems is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain data accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
