Accounts Payable Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist with a strong background in accounts payable, bank reconciliations, and general accounting knowledge. The ideal candidate will handle high volume AP processing and work directly with project managers to support AP and additional accounting needs.

Responsibilities :

• Handle full cycle AP functions, including 3-way match.
• Research and correct account discrepancies.
• Process high volume manual AP invoices, averaging over 150 invoices per day.
• Create lien waivers.
• Receive, code, and process payments for all invoices.
• Post AP and bank reconciliations as needed.
• Analyze and manage payable accounts and variances.
• Communicate directly with vendors and project managers to resolve discrepancies.
• Support month, quarter, and year-end activities as needed.
• Maintain GAAP compliance.
• Participate in ad-hoc projects.

This is a contract to hire position based out of Tampa, FL.

Pay and Benefits :

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
