Overview
Analyst II – Process Excellence engages in strategic initiatives across GM Financial. This role supports and coordinates active efforts in the Process Excellence portfolio, including planning, process engineering, analysis, and communicating findings. The analyst ensures internal client expectations are met by delivering quality work in a timely manner and helps develop accurate documentation and status information such as project charters, business process flows, communication plans, and project checklists.
Responsibilities
- Support strategic transformation projects within the Operational Excellence portfolio; provide reporting on deployment, establish clear communication, identify and mitigate risk, and ensure timely completion of efforts.
- Business Process Management (BPM) / Business Process Improvement (BPI) : with minimal direction support process design, reengineering and opportunity assessments; ensure compliance with department, state and federal regulations.
- Internal Consulting : interact with varying levels of management and departments, utilize consulting skills to collaborate with stakeholders.
- Nintex Process Manager experience or willingness to learn business architecture modeling software.
- Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) : formulate recommendations and identify customer and business needs; support the voice of the customer as well as the voice of the business.
Qualifications
Analysis & Communication : data analysis, effective communication including active listening, and comfort presenting to senior leadership; ability to simplify complex information and develop clear communications and presentations for diverse audiences.Consulting / Client Focus : ability to build and sustain lasting relationships with internal clients; influence and deliver results solving problems for future success.Technology Fluency : Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Visio, Project, PowerBI), and Microsoft Teams.Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) : knowledge of business transformation tools and techniques.Project Management : knowledge and practice of project management methodologies, tools and techniques.Auto Finance : knowledge of GM Financial or another auto finance company core business functions, policies and procedures (desired).Process Excellence : ability to learn Six Sigma and Lean techniques, identify improvement opportunities, implement efficiencies, and champion process excellence initiatives.Education And Experience
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Accounting, Finance, Computer Science or related field required.1+ years relevant work experience, including :Data analysis and reporting
Business process documentation and ownershipAutomation and / or workflow designLicenses
Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt preferredMust have a Nintex Process Manager Promaster Certification within the first 120 daysWhat We Offer
