Cromatic is a venture-backed TechBio company based in the San Francisco Bay Area. We focus on removing barriers in the life sciences industry by simplifying the process of finding and managing scientific outsourcing. Our software streamlines scientific outsourcing, allowing companies to concentrate on groundbreaking discoveries.

Role Description

We are seeking a dynamic  Business Development Associate  for a full-time, hybrid role based in the San Francisco Bay Area, with flexibility for remote work. The successful candidate will perform day-to-day sales activities, lead generation, new business development, business planning, contract negotiation, and account management.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement new business strategies to drive growth
  • Generate leads and identify new business opportunities
  • Negotiate and manage contracts with clients
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a multidisciplinary environment
  • Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients
  • Contribute to business planning and market analysis

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a science-related field from top schools preferred; advanced degree preferred
  • 2 years of work experience, preferably in the life sciences, pharma, or academic labs
  • Deep understanding of SaaS go-to-market strategies and effective customer engagement
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to thrive in a multidisciplinary environment with cross-functional teams
