Software Category Manager

A company is looking for a Software Category Manager to oversee targeted spend and supplier ecosystems within the Technology portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

Identify opportunities to optimize costs and improve software asset utilization

Manage relationships with major software providers and system integrators

Contribute to the development of a new framework for Software Asset Management (SAM)

Required Qualifications

Undergraduate degree; advanced degree (MBA, PhD, etc.) or equivalent work experience preferred

5+ years of Software Category Management experience at the enterprise level required

Experience with software licensing, cloud infrastructure, and AI subcategories strongly preferred

Prior experience with software asset management framework development is a standout

Demonstrable category management strategy experience is required
