Job descriptionWork in a Cath Lab unit in a hospital setting Day shift schedule with four 10-hour shifts per week from 7 : 00 to 17 : 45 Call required once per week and one weekend every five weeks Use of EPIC EMR system is mandatory Assignment length is 13 weeks Responsibilities include providing specialized nursing care in the Cath Lab setting Candidates may occasionally be asked to float to other units or campuses depending on staffing needs Interview availability required, preferably same day or within the next 3 business days Return staff and travelers may reapply after a 1-year gap from previous assignment Assignment cannot be extended beyond 1 year; must wait 1 year before returning International applicants must have 1 year of recent U.S. experience First-time travelers are not eligible for this position Active CA RN license (temp or perm; EMSA not accepted) in hand at time of consideration AHA BLS and AHA ACLS certifications required Minimum 1.5 years continuous Cath Lab RN experience with no breaks in specialty At least 1 year of total travel RN experience, including 6+ months of continuous recent travel experience Recent EPIC or combined EPIC / Cerner experience required within the last 6 months Completion of Cath Lab RN skills checklist One supervisory level professional reference required No locals within a 100-mile radius; not eligible if assigned in San Diego for the past 9+ months Must include valid copies of all required certifications for consideration Maximum of 7 days of approved time off; no new time off requests after submission High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts
