Job Description : A public sector client of ours in Austin, Texas is looking for a Senior Business Analyst for a 1-year contract that is likely to extend.

The Senior Business Analyst will perform advanced, senior-level business analysis work to support the implementation of complex, emerging technology hardware and software projects within the client's mainframe transformation program .

This role will focus on gathering, developing, and documenting requirements; reviewing and improving business processes; creating and validating user acceptance testing; and providing research and special project support to users.

The candidate will contribute to the implementation of multiple interrelated projects, including :

• Deploying SaaS (Software as a Service) or COTS (Commercial Off-the-Shelf) software applications
• Migrating data from the mainframe to new systems
• Supporting the development of a Data Warehouse

The position will work under limited supervision , with considerable latitude for initiative and independent judgment , ensuring that deliverables and materials :

The analyst may also assign and / or supervise the work of others as needed.
