Our Controls & Automation team is seeking a skilled Industrial Automation Field Service Technician to join our Indiana-office; to assist the team and our customers for providing on-site technical support for our products, including installation, commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.

We are seeking a highly motivated, self-directed professional with strong Allen-Bradley PLC expertise to deliver exceptional on-site service, start-up, and commissioning support for our advanced industrial automation and process equipment.

Essential Functions :

Perform crucial onsite service, start-up support (SU&C), and commissioning of electrical, automation, and process equipment, ensuring seamless integration and operation Diagnose and resolve control level issues using Allen-Bradley (AB) PLC ladder logic (RSLogix 5000 preferred).
This position will be the front-line troubleshooter for CompactLogix and ControlLogix processors Install, maintain, and troubleshoot relay logic, ladder diagrams, and a variety of control components, including VFDs, motor starters, sensors, and encoders Diagnose and troubleshoot HMI and SCADA systems (e.g., Ignition, PanelView) and participate in the full lifecycle of incident resolution, including root cause analysis and documentation Develop, implement, and document control solutions for industrial food processing systems, adhering to change management processes.

Ensure "As Designed" and "As Built" configurations are accurately documented Apply knowledge of process instrumentation such as flow meters, temperature, and pressure transmitters Provide remote support for service cases and SU&C as part of an on-call rotation Perform Installation Qualification (IQ) and Operational Qualification (OQ) of industrial systems Minimum Qualifications :

A minimum of 2 years of experience as a PLC Programmer 2+ years of hands-on experience in Allen-Bradley PLC-based controls design, development, implementation, and support 2+ years of experience reading and interpreting electrical schematics, layouts, and P&IDs (Process and Instrumentation Diagrams) Proven ability to read, use, and troubleshoot PLC ladder logic and components Strong customer focus, excellent communication skills (verbal and written), and attention to detail Ability to manage complex projects and multitask effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Must be self-motivated and comfortable working with minimal or remote supervision This position requires availability for 50%+ international and domestic travel to customer sites.

Must be able to perform physical duties associated with a field service role, including climbing, standing for extended periods, and occasionally lifting up to 40 pounds.

A Big Plus :

Knowledge of non-AB control systems, such as Siemens.

Experience with Ignition by Inductive Automation SCADA systems.

Full Time :

40+ hours per week We offer 100% company-paid Medical, Dental, and Vision for the employee, a 401(k) with match, Paid Time Off, and a $150.00 boot allowance per year.

The starting PTO accrual is 4.66 hours of PTO earned every pay period.

The ability to lift 40+ pounds is a must Pay Range DOE :
