Warehouse Associate IV-Clerk Weekend

Job Overview

The role of the Warehouse Associate IV - Shipping Clerk is responsible for managing daily outbound orders to meet customer demand. This role is responsible for ensuring all internal compliance requirements are complete for incoming shipments such as document repository and End of Quarter checklist. Also, they will play a key role to back up the pick or pack lead , when they are on vacation.

A Day In The Life

• Follow all safety, company, and 6S standards in the distribution center to ensure a clean and safe working environment to ensure the safety and security of all employees.
• Work closely with Transportation and Shipping teams to evaluate truck loads, fill expedite request, and / or change routing
• Generate shipment paperwork (Bill of Laden, Export Documents, etc.) for all non nonstandard shipments
• Enter AES
• Prepare shipping quotes for customers as directed by customer service.
• Develop, analyze, modify and execute the release plan to predetermine ship schedules are met for all customers while maintaining a level workload of activity
• Prioritize daily schedule and create reports as needed to monitor, track and measure performance at all levels.
• Work closely with Inventory teams to ensure inventory integrity.
• Monitor and respond to email and phone calls in a timely manner.
• Prioritize tasks along with supervisors / leads to ensure orders are complete in the proper priority and order.
• Perform miscellaneous activities as directed by your manager to efficiently support the warehouse operation.
• Review and resolve outbound error log daily.
