Job Summary : The Project Manager will oversee full-cycle project delivery from receipt of a purchase order through to installation. Acting as the primary liaison between the client and internal teams, this role ensures all project phases are executed efficiently and in alignment with customer requirements. The ideal candidate will possess strong project management expertise, technical understanding of power generation or heavy-duty mechanical equipment, and excellent communication skills to represent Cummins professionally to clients. Key Responsibilities : Manage multiple projects from initiation to completion, ensuring on-time and within-scope delivery. Receive and review purchase orders from the Sales team via Salesforce. Coordinate and oversee all phases of the project — from product confirmation and procurement to installation and handover. Serve as the main point of contact for clients, maintaining strong communication and ensuring client satisfaction. Collaborate with internal teams to align on project tasks, timelines, and deliverables. Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and milestones. Identify and mitigate project risks and issues through proactive management. Monitor and report project progress to stakeholders, maintaining records and documentation. Coach and guide team members, ensuring efficient resource utilization and knowledge sharing. Participate in continuous improvement by sharing lessons learned and applying best practices to future projects. Required Skills : Full-scope project management experience across all project phases. Technical background in power generation, diesel engines, or heavy-duty mechanical equipment. Ability to engage in technical discussions with clients and provide relevant documentation and solutions. Strong communication and interpersonal skills — must communicate effectively with internal teams and external clients. Excellent customer service mindset with a proactive, professional demeanor. Self-motivated with the ability to take initiative and drive results. Salesforce experience is a plus.
