Director Of Brand Management
Puyallup Tribal Enterprises (PTE) is seeking a dynamic Director of Brand Management to lead the strategic development and execution of PTE's unified brand architecture across our diversified portfolio of enterprises. This role will oversee marketing campaigns, sponsorships, and partnerships to ensure the PTE brand is recognized as a leader in both economic development and community impact. You will work directly with the Chief Marketing & Revenue Officer and our leadership team to build brand recognition, drive business development opportunities, and ensure consistent brand experience across all touchpoints.
Responsibilities :
- Maintain and enforce the unified brand architecture, ensuring all business unit identities adhere to cohesive PTE positioning
- Support the integration of new ventures and scaling businesses into the existing brand framework, managing the tactical deployment of updated brand standards
- Track and report on established brand performance and competitive intelligence, translating data into actionable insights for the CMRO's strategic review
- Coordinate brand strategy across diverse business units, ensuring alignment with PTE's master brand
- Manage brand consistency across all customer touchpoints, marketing materials, and digital presence
- Create brand activation campaigns that drive awareness and business development opportunities
- Manage and operate the brand performance tracking systems, reporting on established KPIs and metrics across the entire portfolio
- Ensure authentic representation of tribal values and cultural heritage in all brand communications
- Collaborate with tribal leadership to ensure brand initiatives align with sovereignty and cultural preservation goals
- Implement and manage the approved marketing communications strategy across traditional, digital, and experiential channels to maximize reach and impact
- Execute and manage the approved content strategy, ensuring the consistent production and distribution of high-quality assets across all platforms
- Manage public relations efforts and media relationships to elevate PTE's profile
- Coordinate trade shows, community events, and business development marketing initiatives
- Manage the creation and production of all marketing materials to support corporate partnership and business development teams
- Execute and manage prospect nurturing campaigns, coordinating the development and deployment of aligned content to support high-value partnership opportunities
- Coordinate marketing for new venture launches and business expansions
- Track and report on brand impact on business development and revenue generation
- Oversee the day-to-day execution of high-profile sponsorships, managing deliverables, activation assets, and reporting on established ROI and visibility metrics
- Execute the negotiation and operational management of external brand partnerships, coordinating resources to deliver brand recognition and community impact as defined by strategic goals
- Serve as a key ambassador of the brand internally and externally
- Manage agency relationships and external marketing vendors
- Coordinate cross-functional brand initiatives with operations and business unit leaders
- Create training programs to ensure brand consistency across all team members and business units
- Champion PTE Values and work to teach and promote them throughout PTE
- Identify opportunities for improvements, identify potential areas of risk, and share information with key stakeholders to maximize results throughout PTE
- Use all company resources efficiently to promote maximum financial results for PTE; maintain PTE equipment and assets to maximize return on investment
- Establish and maintain effective business relationships with all employees, vendors, business partners, government / regulatory entities, and communities in which we operate
- Strictly follow workplace safety measures; safeguard the welfare of all employees, guests, visitors, and business partners at all times; promptly report workplace risks, incidents, injuries, and near misses
- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding all sensitive and proprietary business information and safeguard PTE assets at all times
Requirements :
4 year degree in Communications, Business Administration, or related field10+ years of progressive experience in brand management, marketing, or communications, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role3+ years in senior marketing roles with P&L impact and cross-functional leadershipProven track record of successful brand launches or repositioning initiativesExperience working with diverse stakeholder groups and complex organizational structuresStrategic brand thinking with ability to balance short-term business needs with long-term brand buildingPortfolio management experience across multiple business units or market segmentsDigital marketing expertise including SEO, social media, content strategy, and marketing technologyProject management skills with ability to coordinate complex, multi-business initiativesAnalytics and measurement experience with brand tracking, marketing ROI, and business impact assessmentBudget management experience with marketing spend across multiple business unitsCultural sensitivity and genuine interest in Native American business contexts and tribal sovereigntyCommunity-minded approach with understanding of social impact and sustainable business practicesCollaborative leadership style with ability to influence across organizational levelsExcellent communication skills both written and verbal in English, with ability to present to executive leadershipAdaptability to work in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment with evolving prioritiesCulturally sensitive and works well with the full diversity of our company and communityUncompromising integrity and the ability to maintain strict confidentialityAbility to occasionally work non-standard hours to accommodate business needs, including nights, weekends, and holidaysAbility to pass background checkAbout Puyallup Tribal Enterprises :
