Job Description & Requirements Specialty : Certified Surgical Technologist Discipline : Allied Health Professional Duration : 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift : 10 hours, days Employment Type : Travel General Information Unit Specifics : TRAVEL - CST - CVOR (703) 6 : 00AM-4 : 30PM (948817) MUST HAVE CVOR EXPERIENCE AND 2 TRAVEL ASSIGNMENTS Number of Beds : 4 Patient Ratios : 1 : 1 Unit staffing description- RNs, support from CNC, secretary, Manager, etc. shared with CVOR Type of equipment : GE Carescape Monitoring, Fuji u / s Documentation system : Cerner Scheduling requirements : M-F 0500-1330 On Call Requirements : Stay late 1-2 / week Floating policy : Within scope of practice and experience Patient Experience requirements : Critical Care experience a must, PreOp experience a plus Hospital Specifics- Certifications : BLS Requested Skill Set : BCMA, excellent documentation, ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-acuity patient area, excellent communication skills with interdepartmental team Must have : good critical thinking skills Procedures performed on unit : large-bore IV starts, chin to toe hair removal, medication administration, skin assessment, assist with Arterial line, Central line, and Epidural placement.
