Future Tech Enterprise, Inc. is seeking aDesktop / Network Technicianto provide computer, network, and technical support to our client. This is a full-time,on-siterole based inSyosset, NY, with occasional travel to nearby locations (within a five-mile radius).

This is a full-time, on-site position. Work hours are from 8 : 30a -4 : 00p, M-F.

What You'll Do :

Install, configure, and support network operating systems

Resolve workstation issues (PC and Mac)

Install, upgrade, and test industry-standard software and operating systems

Administer databases, internet / intranet systems, and maintain secure access across workstations

Configure, install, and maintain network switches

Support simple computer networks

Provide additional technical support across wireless networks, mobile devices, console controls, and peripheral equipment

Support other IT-related tasks and special projects as needed

What You Bring :

3 years of technical support experience in a professional setting

Valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle (local travel required)

Network+ and CCNA certifications preferred

Strong troubleshooting skills in an enterprise environment

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Experience working in education environments is a plus
