Job Description

As the sous chef, your job will be to help lead the daily operations of the restaurant. Assisting the Executive Chef in organizational standards, cleanliness, and leadership. As well as assisting in the teaching and training of cooks, prep cooks & dishwashers. The position is also involved with sauce work, butchering, and other prep items; as well as some line station duties during service.

Job Role & Responsibilities

  • Ability to organize
  • Oversee cleaning and general restaurant maintenance
  • Monthly inventory
  • Organization of product both prepped and raw
  • Staff training on new dishes and techniques
  • Production including butchering, as well as skilled sauce and vegetable work
  • Hot line station service work

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years experience in a high-quality kitchen
  • Flexibility in scheduling
  • Knowledge in food safety and sanitation
