We are seeking a skilled Microsoft Windows Engineer to join our IT team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing Windows-based systems to ensure optimal performance, security, and reliability. As a Windows Engineer, you will work closely with other IT professionals to support our organization's technological infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design, install, configure, and maintain Windows server environments.
- Manage and support Active Directory, Group Policies, and other Windows-based services.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability.
- Implement security measures to protect Windows systems from vulnerabilities.
- Collaborate with network engineers, system administrators, and other IT staff. - Develop and maintain documentation for systems and procedures. - Provide technical support and guidance to end-users for Windows-related issues. - Participate in the planning and execution of software and hardware upgrades. - Automate repetitive tasks using PowerShell scripting and other tools.
Requirements
Required Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience working with Windows server environments.
- In-depth knowledge of Windows Server operating systems (2016, 2019, 2022).
- Experience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy management.
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for task automation.
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Certifications such as MCSE (Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert) or equivalent are highly desirable.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Experience with Office 365 and cloud services (Azure, AWS).
- Knowledge of network security practices and tools.
- Experience in backup and disaster recovery planning.
- Familiarity with ITIL processes and frameworks.
