Job Description

Allied Universal is Hiring a Shift Supervisor! Starting Pay $28.75 / Hour Requirements :

• Security Experience 1+ Years
• Must be at Least 21+ Years of Age
• Supervisory Experience
• Customer Service Experience
• Comfortable Using a Computer

Overnights Monday - Friday 11pm to 7am! Paid Orientation + Medical, Dental, & Vision Insurance & 401k for Full Time Employees!

Responsibilities

Oversee that all aspects of the security function on-shift are performed in a diligent manner (staffing, scheduling, and on-site training) Ensure that contract-required training and screening elements for security personnel have been met. Maintain overtime to a minimal or preset requirement. Ensure quality of service and contract compliance by regularly inspecting security personnel and their job performance when assigned to his / her shift. Perform other operations and related functions (e.g., payroll, review and maintain incident reports, assist in preparation of security surveys and post orders). Make recommendations for positive and negative personnel actions for those under his / her direct supervision. Respond to client requests. Make emergency notifications as necessary pursuant to site Post Orders. Provide direction and instruction to subordinates in regard to the performance of their duties. Disciplinary action / commendation decisions pertaining to security personnel. Make productivity and cost reduction recommendations to management. Make recommendations for physical security surveys and post orders. Make recommendations concerning disciplinary action / commendation decisions pertaining to security personnel.

Qualifications (Must Have)

High school diploma or equivalent Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment Current driver's license if driving a company-owned or client-provided vehicle Minimum of one (1) year verifiable and successful supervisory experience in a security-related industry Able to operate radio or telephone equipment and / or console monitors Effective oral and written interpersonal communication skills; able to write informatively, clearly, and accurately Problem solving skills Active listening skills Able to assess and evaluate situations effectively; identify critical issues quickly and accurately Able to compile, sort, and interpret data Skilled in research, investigation, and in compiling information Able to mediate conflict with tact, diplomacy Attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)

College coursework in Education, Business, Criminal Justice, Human Resources, Security Management or related field Prior experience in the fire service, law enforcement, and / or military Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) certification Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) certified
