Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Shipping Manager to join our team in Morgantown, WV, 26508. In this role, you will oversee the shipping operations, ensuring that our products are delivered on time and in excellent condition. Responsibilities

Manage daily shipping operations, including scheduling and coordinating shipments.
Oversee the shipping team, providing training and support to ensure efficient workflow.
Develop and implement shipping policies and procedures to improve efficiency.
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the warehouse team to ensure timely fulfillment.
Maintain accurate shipping records and documentation for compliance and reporting purposes.
Collaborate with carriers and vendors to negotiate shipping rates and resolve any issues.
Analyze shipping data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred.

Proven experience in shipping and logistics management.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.

Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Proficient in shipping software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.

Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
