Full Time Nurse Practitioner APRN
Monday-Friday 8a-5p / Saturday-Sunday 10a-4p
Job Description :
- Provide advanced nursing care to patients under the supervision of a physician, focusing on assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of acute and chronic medical conditions.
- Perform comprehensive health assessments, order diagnostic tests, interpret results, and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Prescribe medications, therapies, and other interventions according to established protocols and guidelines.
- Monitor patients' progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes.
- Educate patients and their families about health conditions, preventive care, and self-management strategies.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient encounters, including assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
Education and Certification Requirements :
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree from an accredited program.
- Current licensure as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in Kansas.
- Certification as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) in the applicable specialty area (, Family, Adult-Gerontology, etc.).
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner preferred.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required.
- Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and communication skills.
