Must have pleted Behavior Specialist / ABA Therapy training and have a minimum 1+ years Behavior Therapy experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An opportunity is available for Behavior Specialists to support K-12 special education teams across multiple schools in Albuquerque, NM. This contract position extends through the academic year and focuses on assisting classroom teams that serve students experiencing crisis. The role is critical in promoting positive behavioral outes through collaboration, assessment, and intervention planning.

Qualified candidates include Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), Special Education Teachers with a background in behavior, or Social Workers with relevant experience. Applicants must hold a valid license from the New Mexico Public Education Department (PED) or be eligible to obtain one. Familiarity with Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) is essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities :

• Deliver behavioral support and consultation to special education staff across assigned schools
• Conduct and interpret FBAs to develop effective BIPs tailored to individual student needs
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to implement and monitor behavioral interventions
• Provide training and resources to classroom staff to enhance crisis management strategies
• Support data collection and progress monitoring to inform decision-making
