Civil Engineer- Site and Roadway Design

Seeking a Civil Engineer with highway / site design experience for a direct hire opportunity with our client in New York, NY.

This position offers full benefits including PTO, Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k, ESOP, Commuter Benefit Program, and Tuition Reimbursement Program!  Salary is between $105,000 - $115,000 per year (based on experience) We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to join our team and support site and roadway design projects under the direction and supervision of a Principal Civil Engineer.

The selected candidate will represent the civil design staff and be responsible for conceptual and final design of roadway and site improvement projects at the Authority’s facilities.

Typical projects include rehabilitation or reconstruction of existing roadways and various site infrastructure improvements.

Responsibilities :

• Perform conceptual and detailed design for roadway and site development projects, including roadway rehabilitation, reconstruction, and miscellaneous civil site work.
• Prepare engineering plans, specifications, cost estimates, and contract documents in accordance with project and regulatory requirements.
• Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D to produce design models, grading plans, alignments, and construction drawings.

Apply AASHTO standards and other applicable design guidelines throughout all project phases.
