We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced ABA Billing Specialist to join our growing administrative team.

Position Summary :

The ABA Billing Specialist is responsible for managing all aspects of billing, claims submission, and payment reconciliation for ABA therapy services. This role ensures timely and accurate processing of insurance and private pay claims while maintaining compliance with payer and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities :

Prepare, review, and submit insurance claims for ABA services (electronic and paper).

Update Payor fee Schedules in system

Post payments, reconcile accounts, and follow up on denied or unpaid claims.

Communicate with insurance companies, clients, and internal staff regarding billing issues.

Maintain accurate financial records and documentation in accordance with HIPAA and company policies.

Assist with month-end reporting and audits.

Stay current on ABA billing codes, payer policies, and compliance standards.

Qualifications :

Required : High school diploma or equivalent (associate degree or higher preferred).

Experience : Minimum 2 years of medical billing experience, preferably in ABA or behavioral health.

Strong understanding of CPT and HCPCS codes used in ABA services (97151, 97153, 97155, etc.).

Knowledge of insurance billing portals, clearinghouses, and EHR systems (e.g., CentralReach, TherapyNotes, or similar).

Excellent attention to detail, organization, and follow-up skills.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.
