Seeking an Auto Mechanic to complete general maintenance and repairs on standard vehicles (no diesels or heavy equipment) to join our growing automotive repair business.

Do you have at least 2 years' experience working on cars either professionally or personally? Are you reliable, dependable and motivated to continuously learn and grow your skillset? Job Requirements :

• At least 2 years' general maintenance and auto repair experience
• Open to work weekends and evenings
• Open to working a flexible schedule; between 8am-10pm, possibly rotating shifts
• Experience using a vehicle lift
• Valid Driver's License
• To pass a DMV record check
• To pass a background check

Preferences :

• Service writer experience
• ASE degree or certification
• Completion of Automotive school
• Computer skills

Job Duties :

• Safely complete general maintenance and auto repairs
• To lift at least 50 pounds throughout the day (removing tires and heavy parts)
• Data entry : assist customers, look up and order parts
• Customer service; explain diagnostic results and answer questions, provide quotes
• Bill customers out; using credit card machine
• Use PPE and maintain a safe workspace
• Operate the vehicle lifts
• Maintain a clean shop, clean up spills etc.
• Test drive vehicles for diagnostics

Hours :

• Full-time (Friday-Tuesday)

Pay :

• $20.00 (plus) per hour Depending on experience
• Drug Free Workplace
