The Floater Medical Bilingual English and Spanish Receptionist receives and correctly routes incoming and outgoing telephone calls and accommodates visitors so that all callers / visitors are attended to promptly, courteously, and accurately. The Medical Receptionist performs basic administrative / clerical / operational / customer support / computational tasks. Typically works on routine and patterned assignments.

Floater Medical Receptionist Role Overview :

The Floater Medical Receptionist Bilingual English and Spanish operates a switchboard or multi-line phone and maintains long distance call logs. Takes and distributes accurate messages. Greets visitors and determines the nature of their visit, issues visitor passes and maintains visitor logs, alerts appropriate party of visitor arrival or directs visitors to appropriate office, department or employee. Responds to routine inquiries from internal or external sources such as the organization's location, hours of operation, phone numbers, and / or email address. Additional responsibilities may include miscellaneous administrative activities such as booking meeting rooms, typing, organizing and distributing mail, receiving and sending courier packages. Decisions are limited to defined parameters around work expectations, quality standards, priorities and timing, and works under close supervision and / or within established policies / practices and guidelines with minimal opportunity for deviation.

Required Qualifications :

• Experience in a fast pace / high volume environment
• Minimum of 1-year professional experience as a Medical Receptionist in 'front-office' direct patient care contact
• Bilingual (English / Spanish)
• Experience with MS Outlook
• Basic Computer knowledge
• Must be a team player with excellent communication skills
• Willingness to learn and be cross trained in other roles based on business need

Preferred Qualifications :

Working hours : Clinic hours are Monday to Friday 8AM-5PM

Scheduled 32 hours per week

Local travel is required for this "floater" position; Mileage is reimbursed

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.

$38,000 - $45,800 per year

This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and / or individual performance.
