JOB SUMMARY : Support the implementation of marketing and promotional campaigns and interact with National Accounts selling agents, providing up-to-date product information and key selling tools. Act as the designated Conference, Tradeshow and Seminar contact. Act as the advocate for the client with the company, ensuring that the customer is receiving the care promised at the time the business relationship was established. Provide departmental support and be the liaison to senior management team.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Assist with the implementation of marketing and promotional campaigns, coordination of conferences, trade show activities and the preparation of sales presentations.
- Monitor conference and tradeshow budgets, to include collateral, electrical, booth, communications, etc. as needed.
- Administer scheduling and manning for trade events and coordinate travel arrangements for all conferences, tradeshows and seminars at sea.
- Interact with National & Strategic Accounts selling agents, providing up-to-date product information and key selling tools, acting as designated trainer for all Accounts call centers and account headquarter and member agencies.
- Service and maintain designated accounts and designated member agency accounts headquarter agent profiles, providing assistance and resolving problems.
- Attend meetings when necessary, maintaining minutes and coordinating distribution of same.
- Coordinate with various departments internally to develop or assist in programming to ensure designated accounts' promotions are carried out.
- Attend conferences / tradeshows, ship inspections and represent the company; participate in development of relationships between accounts and corporations.
- Ensure co-op payments, marketing fees, performance incentive overrides (PIO), special group request and refunds are correctly processed and tracked for payment. Ensure monthly statements are processed to accounts.
- Assist in preparation of contracts and maintain master contract file.
- Coordinate inaugural events, which includes communicating with Headquarters, developing manifest for events, booking cabins as needed, facilitating documents and response confirmations, attendance to events while hosting tables for agents, and assisting with inaugural activities.
- Conduct web site audits on a weekly basis to verify appropriate Norwegian messaging logos, graphics and products.
- Assume full responsibility when management is unavailable to ensure accounts are fully represented.
- Make sales calls as needed for company promotions, including special programs. Assist with coordination of promotional collateral - obtaining logos and call to action. Maintain storage for collateral and other merchandise and distribute to accounts accordingly.
- Conduct and assist with the coordination of ship inspections, weekend visitations, and seminar at sea programs to promote Norwegian Cruise Line. Select agents and create communication pieces. Host luncheons for ship visitations by agents within guidelines. Escort events within prescribed budgets.
- Perform other job-related functions as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
DEGREE TYPE : Associate's Degree
FIELD(S) OF STUDY : Sales / Marketing, Business Administration or related field of study or any equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
EXPERIENCE :
Minimum 3 years of experience in sales or marketing or similar experience with call center group reservations, inside sales or revenue management.COMPETENCIES / SKILLS :
Excellent public relations, public speaking, and sales skills.Extensive Norwegian Cruise Lines knowledge in reservations, policies, ship operations and programs.Basic level knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite to include intermediate level skills with Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Knowledge of or ability to learn Freestyle Connect.Ability to adapt to a quickly changing sales environment; ability to shift priorities per business demands.Interpersonal skills to work effectively in a team based environment.Customer-centric skills to help maintain business relationships.Excellent verbal and written command of English sufficient to support travel partners with questions / issues as well as to effectively diffuse situations whenever necessary.CERTIFICATIONS / LICENSES :
