Shift : 6 : 00 PM - 6 : 30 AM

Experience :

• 18 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
• Must have at least 24 months of Pediatric Medical Surgical Unit experience.
• Experience with Cerner is required from any number of months.

Additional Details :

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

Required Skills / Experience : Skills : Gastrointestinal, Breastfeeding Support / Handling of Breast Milk, Feedings (bottle, breast, gavage), NG tube insertion / management, Endocrine / Metabolic, Hyperbilirubinemia, Insulin administration, Professional Topic and Skills, Infection Prevention, Isolation Precautions, Wound assessment / care, Renal / Genitourinary, Respiratory, Oral / nasal Suctioning, Oxygen Delivery Systems, Medications / Emergency Medications, Pediatric Dosage Calculations, Pediatric MedSurg, Pediatric Step Down / Telemetry, IV therapy / Phlebotomy, Peripheral Line Care / Management, Starting and maintaining IVs, Adult and Peds work history, screen if no adult.

Preferred Skills / Experience : Previous Charge Experience. Skills : Insertion and management of indwelling urinary catheter, Management of Chest Tubes.

Required Credentials : ID : Drivers License / State ID.

Unit / Facility Details : Parking Cost : parking permit required, no cost. Will fill out form during orientation.

Special Requests : Open to accommodating block schedule : Discuss schedule requests with manager.

Shift & Scheduling : Will work every other weekend. Is on-call req : No.

Floating Requirements : Floating is 100% required of ALL TRAVELERS - Candidates will float within hospital or to an affiliate hospital / s near by.

5 days maximum time off. Facility holidays : 01 / 01 / 2025, 11 / 27 / 2025, 12 / 25 / 2025. Number of holidays allowed off : 1
