Radiologic Technologist Qualifications

Active Ohio Radiologic Technologist License (ODH) – required for Ohio radiology jobs

Current ARRT Certification

BLS Certification (American Heart Association preferred)

Minimum 1 year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist in a hospital or clinical setting

Proficiency with digital diagnostic X-ray equipment (Philips, Quantum, Shimadzu, Siemens, Carestream)

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Radiology Technologist Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic X-rays for outpatients, inpatients, and Emergency Department patients

Conduct portable imaging, fluoroscopy, and assist with surgical imaging procedures

Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with patient safety protocols

Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver quality patient care

Participate in orientation and ongoing clinical training

Maintain and troubleshoot radiology equipment as needed

Deliver compassionate care to patients of all ages and backgrounds
