In this role, you will provide clinical services, case management, and therapy to children and families, helping them navigate behavioral, emotional, and developmental challenges while fostering a trauma-informed, supportive environment.

What You'll Do

As a Clinical Therapist, you will provide high-quality clinical care, develop individualized treatment plans, and collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to support children and families. Your responsibilities include :

• Delivering evidence-based individual, group, and family therapy, including a minimum of two weekly EDT treatment groups
• Coordinating psychiatric, psychological, and other specialized assessments to inform effective treatment planning
• Participating in diagnostic and discharge conferences, provider meetings, and cross-agency collaboration to ensure coordinated care
• Collaborating with schools, DCF, courts, and community resources to advocate for children and families
• Maintaining accurate clinical documentation, including admissions, discharges, progress reports, and Individualized Service Plans (ISPs)
• Developing and updating ISPs with clients to provide personalized, effective care
• Fostering a trauma-informed, culturally competent approach across the treatment team
• Creating therapeutic recreation and enrichment activities that support youth development and engagement
• Developing and documenting crisis, discharge, and aftercare plans to ensure safe and seamless transitions
• Supporting the care, welfare, and safety of children by proactively identifying and addressing potential risks
• Assisting milieu staff in behavior management as needed
• Upholding professional boundaries and agency policies while modeling ethical and culturally competent care
