Junior Accountant

Reston, VA

MUST :

Experienced Accounting Coordinator

Bachelor's Degree required

2 years of experience with accounting systems including A / P and A / R required

Experience with Data management, excel required

Candidate must demonstrate the knowledge of understanding financial edge or Concur is a plus

The ideal candidate has accounting or business degree

Above average communication skills, excellent attitude, knows how to work in team environment

Must individually have good health with no history of illnesses that may affect residents here at Children's Inn facility

Must be good with Quick Books

DUTIES :

Supports Finance Department functions data entry, A / P, workflow system assigned by Sr. Director of finance

A / P- Transfer data in and out of accounting systems, handling check, contracts, credit card payments and W-9's. Coordinating contracts files and bank drafts

A / R- Handling invoices, documenting payments and statements

Aligning the second phase of A / P electronic system installation and understanding / implementation of new billing system

Coordinate bank deposits ,check scanning & credit card processing, help others with data entry

Prepare IRS forms and System for Award Management

Understand Policies and procedures from the finance department

Documentation filing and destruction schedules
