Performance Marketing Lead / Founding Marketeer
Location : San Francisco or NYC, Hybrid in either location
We’re looking for a Performance Marketing Lead to own and scale paid acquisition across Google, Meta, and LinkedIn. This is a rare opportunity to build a demand engine from the ground up — owning the full performance marketing funnel, from strategy and creative through to execution and optimisation.
If you have been in a Founding position, one of the first in, a Growth Marketeer for a rocket Start Up or Series-backed business, ideally A-C, we want to hear from you!
You\'ll collaborate closely with Founders daily, the board too, Product, Design, and Sales to launch high-converting campaigns, run landing page tests, and turn insights into action. Your work will help fuel predictable pipeline growth in a fast-scaling B2B SaaS environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Take full ownership of paid media across key platforms (Google, Meta, LinkedIn)
- Build and optimise campaigns to hit CAC, pipeline, and payback targets
- Conduct deep audience, keyword, and performance analysis to improve targeting and spend efficiency
- Write compelling ad copy that speaks to scaling B2B customers
- Work with cross-functional teams to test and improve landing pages
- Ensure a seamless handoff from marketing-qualified leads to sales demos
- Explore and experiment with emerging channels and new ad formats
- Manage a growing monthly ad budget (currently significant and scaling quickly)
Who We’re Looking For
You’ve spent at least 3 solid years owning paid acquisition for a B2B SaaS company or a successful B2C / D2C brand , which has had great success across North America (something which has exceeded downloads and / or sales)You’ve worked in a venture-backed or PE-backed business (Series A–C preferred)You’ve helped build marketing from the ground up, not just optimised what already existsYou know how to scale spend, lower CAC, and grow a qualified pipelineYou’re hands-on in Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, and LinkedIn Campaign ManagerYou’re both analytical and creative — able to interpret data and write standout ad copyYou test fast, learn quickly, and constantly iterate based on performanceAbout You
