Empowered Services is seeking compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to join our team.
In this role, you will build meaningful relationships that inspire confidence, promote independence, and support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in living fulfilling, joyful lives.
As a DSP, you will work one-on-one with each customer to understand their unique needs, support them in achieving their goals, and provide care in a positive, encouraging, and safe environment. Our DSPs serve not only as caregivers but also as mentors, advocates, and trusted companions for the individuals we support.
189 : We are looking for a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to support a fun, social, and active individual who loves football, lifting, basketball, working at the golf course, and staying involved in his community. He has a big personalityoutgoing, friendly, full of smiles and laughterand thrives when surrounded by people who share his enthusiasm for life.
We are looking for a DSP who is patient, respectful, and encouraging. Its important to give him the time and space to fully express himself and to always treat him with dignity and respect.
His providers play an important role in helping him stay on track with his physical therapy exercises, which are a key focus of his time together. After picking him up from work, youll head to the aquatic center where youll work on his PT goals and maybe even shoot some hoops together.
He is very involved with GFU football, so if you love the energy of game day and being part of a spirited environment, youll be a great match! Please note he has several allergies, so being mindful and careful with his mealsprepared by his momis essential.
Schedule : Tuesday & Thursday 1 : 00 / 1 : 30 pm to 3 : 30 pm.

Keep in touch with County Coordinators and report updates or concerns promptly, ensuring smooth and supportive care.
Follow all safety and wellness protocols to maintain a secure and comfortable environment for customers.
Complete required state training and certifications, keeping your skills sharp and your care up-to-date.
Approach each day with compassion, patience, and understanding. Serve as a mentor, advocate, and companion, bringing encouragement, laughter, and meaningful support to customers lives.
