Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Special Education Teacher opportunity is available in a middle school setting for 7th and 8th graders with significant learning needs. This position is based onsite in Des Plaines, IL, and runs through the 2025-2026 school year. The role involves working in a self-contained classroom within a fast-paced environment, requiring flexibility and excellent communication skills with both parents and staff.

Key Responsibilities :

• Deliver specialized instruction tailored to students with diverse and significant learning needs.
• Manage a caseload of middle school students in a self-contained classroom.
• Collaborate effectively with parents, teachers, and support staff to support student success.
• Adapt instructional methods to accommodate various learning styles and abilities.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and participate in meetings regarding educational planning.
