Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Located in the Waukegan, IL area, this contract position offers an opportunity to work full-time as a Special Education Teacher supporting middle school students in grades 7 and 8. The assignment runs through the 2025 / 2026 school year, Monday through Friday, for 35 hours weekly, including a 30-minute lunch break and two 15-minute unpaid breaks.
Ideal candidates will have experience working with students who have significant learning needs in a fast-paced, self-contained environment. Strong communication skills are essential to effectively collaborate with parents, staff, and support diverse learner requirements. Flexibility and adaptability in meeting a wide range of student needs are highly valued.
