Seeking a Customer Advocateto join a leading organization in the Chicago land area.

In this role, we are looking for a Customer Service Advocate to deliver a high degree of professionalism, speed and accuracy in supporting incoming customer enquiries.

Customer Advocates are responsible for being the first point of contact for most customers and will provide information and service on a wide variety of engineering products and offerings.

Responsibilities:

Articulate information about products and services, helping customers to navigate through the website

Provide product information.

Provide clarification and assistance on the examination testing process

Complete tasks associated with certification, membership, and other groups as needed.

Serve as the primary point of customer service.

Assist customers in scheduling and rescheduling exams.

Adhere to service vision of Extraordinary Service. Every time.

Reply to electronic customer requests through email/chat while adhering to appropriate grammar, spelling, and style guidelines.

Answer incoming phone calls, respond to voicemails, and make outbound phone calls as needed.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Key Requirements:

Minimum two years customer service experience in a formal, high-paced customer service setting; a Bachelors degree (BA or BS) preferred.

Exceptional telephone etiquette, conflict management, and de-escalation skills required for such environment.

Possess team mentality with commitment to working with various departments, co-workers, and customer types.

Strong computer skills, particularly around working with the Microsoft Office product line. Experience with TReX or Abila a plus.

Ability to adapt quickly to changing policies, procedures, and customer expectations.
