Shield Technology Partners ("STP") was founded in October 2024 to partner with and drive growth in Technology MSP organizations across the United States. STP creates value by partnering with established local companies, allowing owner-operators to operate independently while receiving resources and hands-on operational expertise to further scale their businesses.

STP is growing at a rapid pace, typically partnering with 1-2 businesses per month. The company has substantial committed capital to continue growing rapidly over the coming years given its backing by ZBS Partners, an investment vehicle that manages over $800 million in assets dedicated to funding a select number of platform businesses like STP.

ZBS Partners was founded by two partners with a strong track record of building, scaling and exiting platforms in various industries, both of whom play an integral role in the growth of STP.

Position Summary

The Accounting Integrations Manager will facilitate the seamless integration and support the ongoing integration of accounting functions for new partner organizations within STP's growing portfolio. This role plays a critical part in executing the "Shield playbook," ensuring consistency, operational excellence, and system alignment across acquisitions.

Initially an individual contributor role, the Accounting Integrations Manager will lead key integration projects, optimize accounting processes, and establish financial controls across new and existing partner businesses. Over time, this role will evolve to build and manage a team focused on sustaining high standards of accounting integration and partner success.

This position is ideal for a proactive, hands-on leader with strong project management and system integration experience, passionate about working in a fast-paced, acquisition-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned :

• Lead accounting system implementation and migration projects for new partner organizations.
• Support partner full-cycle accounting processes, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, billing, and cash application.
• Partner with leadership and operational teams to ensure accurate, timely financial reporting across all entities.
• Identify and implement process optimization and accounting automation opportunities.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for system integration and project management, ensuring effective adoption and training at partner companies.
• Establish and maintain financial controls, policies, and standardized processes across partner firms.
• Build and lead a high-performing accounting integration team as the organization scales.
• Maintain compliance with GAAP and support annual financial audits.
• Assist with ad hoc projects as requested
