A-Line Staffing is hiring : Urgent Care LVN (Float) – League City, TX

A-Line Staffing is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to work in a float capacity at MinuteClinic locations in League City, Bay Area Blvd – Houston, and Pearland. This is a full-time, contract position with potential for permanent hire based on performance and business needs.

Compensation : $37.17 per hour

Benefits available to full-time employees after 90 days

401(k) with company match available after 1 year of service

Shift & Schedule :

Full-time clinic hours, including every other weekend

Shifts typically 7–10 hours during clinic operating hours

Work schedules created in 6-week blocks following a 3-week training / orientation

Must be available for some major holidays

Job Responsibilities :

Administer vaccinations and injections, including influenza, COVID, and TB test placements

Obtain vital signs and provide emergency care in collaboration with on-site providers

Perform patient registration, intake, and checkout

Assist with wait room management, patient outreach, appointment scheduling, and sensitive exam chaperoning

Prepare clinic and waiting areas to ensure the best patient experience

Provide patient-focused care to support MinuteClinic’s mission of helping people on their path to better health

Required Qualifications :

Active, unrestricted LVN license

Graduate of an approved school of Practical or Vocational Nursing

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Minimum 1 year of healthcare experience

Experience administering immunizations and injections

Ability to document in an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and take vital signs

Ability to pass a FIT test and wear a respirator mask when required

Preferred Qualifications :

Experience in Primary Care, Urgent Care, or Emergency Room settings

Previous experience with EPIC EMR

Additional Information :

All MinuteClinic positions are safety-sensitive

You must be able to complete the initial 3-week training / orientation

This is a patient-facing, on-site role
