Marian Catholic High School in Chicago Heights, Illinois, has an opening for a PLTW Computer Science / Engineering Teacher for the 2024-25 school year.
The ideal candidate :
- Must have a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Programming, or related
- Have at least 1-2 years teaching experience in secondary or higher education
- Be joyful, flexible, communicative, collaborative, and tech savvy
- Enjoy working with students to foster a healthy, supportive classroom environment
- Be well-versed in modern teaching methods, including the use of the iPad in the classroom
- Boast experience teaching students critical reading skills and analytical writing skills
