Provider Integration Specialist
Location : Cincinnati, OH - candidate MUST be local
Duration : 4 month contract - looking to hire ASAP (potential to extend and possible permanent conversion)
Schedule : Mon-Fri 1st shift schedule
Pay : $40-45 / hr - weekly pay on W2
Job Summary :
- Lead the integration of new providers by working with Medical Staff, service line leadership, operations and others to ensure all necessary items are prepared for the first day of the providers' employment.
- Collaborate with necessary departments to lead integration needs specific to providers moving and / or adding locations to ensure all necessary items are properly transitioned and ready for the first day of providers' practice at changed / added location.
- Collaborate with necessary departments to lead integration needs specific to providers departing the network to ensure the provider has all necessary benefit and / or retirement information and appropriate hardware is returned for recycling purposes, as appropriate.
- Lead project management and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance various processes required to onboard or otherwise integrate a provider. This includes developing a clear understanding of the various tasks completed by all departments associated with the integration processes; establishing effective working relationships with all department process owners; and regularly seeking opportunities for improvement.
- Work collaboratively with other departments to integrate current functions through collaborative process design and implementation and performance improvement efforts.
- Ensure that project goals and objectives are accomplished within prescribed time frames.
- Efficiently manage integration and onboarding needs for all newly hired physicians and APPs, beginning at the time of contract and / or offer letter execution.
- Ensure all necessary processes are complete and provider is properly prepared for practice on day 1 of employment.
- Efficiently manage needs specific to various changes for providers including, but not limited to, location changes, location additions and provider departures.
Required Skills / Qualification :
Bachelor's Degree in related fieldAt least five (5) years of process improvement and / or project management experience in a healthcare environment.Demonstrated knowledge and application of Lean and / or Six Sigma process improvement.Knowledge and application of a wide variety of advanced performance improvement tools and methods.Strong organizational skills leading a combination of direct and dotted line reporting relationships.Exhibits strong, collaborative leadership qualities.Outstanding internal and external communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to connect with people.Ability to prioritize and deliver on key initiatives.Demonstrated commitment to the highest standards of performance within time and budget constraints.High levels of initiative, drive and poise coupled with qualities of maturity, professionalism, flexibility, and patience.Unquestionable integrity and business ethics.
