As Sr. Director, Product Management, you will lead one of the most transformative product areas within eBay. You'll spearhead the advancement of AI capabilities, including seller agent features, and shape the future of Listing and Selling experiences on eBay. This includes core ownership of Magical ListingeBay's flagship solution that uses generative AI, image recognition, and automation to help sellers create compelling listings from a photo or text prompt.
This is a critical leadership role for a strategic, data-driven product executive who thrives at the intersection of AI, cutting-edge technology, customer empathy, and cross-functional collaboration.
What You'll Be Working On
Define and Drive Product Strategy
Own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for AI-powered seller tools.
Lead strategy around listing simplification, seller agent capabilities, and mobile-first workflows.
Champion innovation in AI, generative models, automation, and intelligent defaults to transform seller journeys.
Deliver High-Impact, AI-Enhanced Products
Drive development of features that enable sellers to create listings via photo inference, automated content generation, and more.
Partner with engineering, AI, design, and research to deliver high-quality experiences across web and mobile.
Use experimentation and data analysis to improve seller efficiency, conversion, and engagement.
Obsess Over the Seller Journey
Deeply understand seller needsfrom mobile-first casual users to high-volume merchants.
Co-create features with input from user research, testing, and feedback loops.
Reduce friction and enhance seller trust through personalized, intuitive, experiences.
Lead and Inspire a High-Performing Team
Hire, mentor, and grow a team of world-class product managers.
Create a product culture grounded in customer empathy, urgency, and craft excellence.
Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion across the team and broader organization.
Operate as a Strategic, Cross-Functional Leader
Align closely with leaders across Product, Core AI, Knowledge Graph, Marketing, Trust, Shipping, and Global Markets.
Integrate partner technologies to enhance product offerings.
Represent your product area in executive forums and communicate technical strategies with business impact.
Collaborate with program and operations teams to ensure roadmap execution and timely delivery.
What We're Looking For
10+ years of product management experience, with a strong focus on customer-facing innovation at scale.
Proven track record defining and executing strategies in marketplaces, platforms, or commerce ecosystems.
Hands-on experience developing AI-driven or automation features, particularly using generative AI, computer vision, or inference systems.
Deep analytical capability with a data-first mindset and strong experimentation chops.
10+ years of team leadership experience, with a passion for mentoring and scaling high-performing teams.
Exceptional storytelling, collaboration, and influence across senior stakeholders and partners.
Strong empathy for sellers, and a desire to simplify and enhance their day-to-day workflows.

The applicable base pay range for this position is dependent on work location. The base pay range in the San Francisco Bay Area, New York City Metro and Seattle Metro is expected in the range below :
$249,200 - $332,700
The base pay range for all other U.S. work locations is expected in the range below :
$189,600 - $286,200
Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and / or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
