Job description

Responsibilities

  • Video editing needs to be done using Clipchamp only.
  • Edit long form YouTube videos into vertical short-form videos suitable for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.
  • Utilize provided assets including video footage, branded images, audio, and video script.
  • Add / edit with effects, transitions, and captions as needed to keep the content engaging and easy to understand.
  • Submit videos in 9 : 16 aspect ratio.
  • Video length up to 1 minute 30 second duration.
  • Export in 1080p HD resolution in Clipchamp.
  • Follow the short-form video checklist before sending the videos for review.
  • Ability to make decisions around content cutting and storytelling to keep the viewer engaged from start to finish.

Qualifications

  • Background music will not be provided and will be added by Clipchamp team.
  • Use Clipchamp text to speech feature for voice overs, if required.
  • Plagiarism or near duplication of competitor content will result in the contract ending.

    • Quality Assurance & Revisions

  • All submitted work must meet the quality standards outlined in the Clipchamp guidelines.
  • If the deliverables do not meet these standards, Clipchamp reserves the right to : request revisions until the content is satisfactory, or withhold payment until the required quality is achieved.

    • Confidentiality & Ownership

  • This project is governed by the confidentiality and intellectual property terms outlined in the Upwork User Agreement and the Independent Contractor Agreement (sections 1.4, 5, and 7).
  • All work produced is the sole property of Clipchamp and may not be reused or disclosed.
