Machine Operator/Production
JOB DESCRIPTION Our client is a worldwide leading diversified manufacturer of premium building products and related technology.
We are hiring Machine operators / production workers who will operate or tend machines designed to cut expanded polystyrene blocks according to the exacting standards of the work order.
Responsibilities
Set up, operate, and perform basic troubleshooting of laminators including flying
knives, and ensuring that each machine is pre-positioned with purchased material
Follow daily work orders assigned to each lamination crew
Package and load all orders properly and ensure the highest quality of the finished product
Communicate the number of blocks required for a work order to the material handler
Starts cutting machine and adjusts the line speed
Qualifications
Ability to follow instructions and read production orders
Prior experience operating a forklift preferred
Must pass drug testing and background checking
Production, Construction, or Manufacturing experience
Ability to use measuring gauges like tape measures
